Staff
Pastor Darryn Hewson has been at VUMC since July of 2008. He has a passion for ecumenical and interfaith work and serves as the Chair of the Pacific Northwest Conference Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns for the UMC. He recently spent a month this summer as part of an interfaith program in Geneva with the World Council of Churches and is pursuing his doctorate in Ecumenical and Interfaith dialogue. We never know what pastor Darryn will do on any given Sunday we may come in to find the entire sanctuary has been rearranged or even blank bulletins where we are expected to fill in the missing parts. What we do know is that every week we will be challenged to grow and to live our faith.
