Sunday Morning

  Start the week off with a great group of people at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning adult Sunday school class. The format is viewing a video of about 25 minutes followed by a discussion. There are also treats and coffee to entice your taste buds.
   
  Adult Bible Classes. In addition to the adult education class on Sunday mornings, there are two adult Bible classes meeting during the week--one in daytime, and one in the evening.

The daytime Bible study class meets at 11:00 a.m.Wednesdays  in the Primary Room in the Education Building. The format is to read and discuss the lectionary readings for the week.

Pastor Darryn is conducting a class called  “Christian Believer,” meeting every other Tuesday from 630-830 p.m.  The aim of this class is to deepen our understandings about God and faith, and to examine where our beliefs really come from.  The class will feature daily readings from Scripture as well as from a source book of theological and other church writings.

Book Group

  The Methodist Potluck Dinner & Book Group meets the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in a host home.  Books are chosen for the next year at the May meeting. Criteria used in selection of a book are that the book 1) should be about a person's life that inspires our own life, 2) presents an issue that encourages our action, or 3) increases understanding of other cultures. A list of the year's chosen books will be given to the Vashon Library in order to assure the books will be available through the library system.
  There is still room for members as well as hosts and volunteers to lead the discussions. All are welcome to come. Please contact the church office to join.

Men's Coffee

  Join the men of the church for their weekly coffee time Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. at the Roasterie on Vashon Hiway at Cemetery Raod. Contact the office for driving directions.
